Hello, my name is Teresa Summerfield-Brown, born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I attended Milwaukee Tech, where I specialized in cabinet making; woodworking has been my passion ever since. With 40+ years of experience, I've honed my craft, turning my love for woodworking into my business, the Kangaroo Woodworker. I take great pride in creating unique, handcrafted pieces, combining various hardwoods to make beautiful furniture and decorative items. The Kangaroo Woodworker is 100% woman-owned and each piece is made by me, with care in my woodshop, which has always been my happy place. The name was inspired by my many visits to Australia, where kangaroos made a lasting impression.
